Chapter 9

Walkies today was WetWetWet!

i was covered in mud & cold!

*heehee*

im a mucky pup!

i had a nice warm bath in giant water bowl.

i tried, but i didnt manage to drink all the bath water...

i thought all water was for me to drink?

i had smelly bubbles all over me!

finally i was out of the giant water bowl!

wrapped up tight in a towel and scrubbed dry!

now i smell and feel lots better!

i hope the field isnt that muddy tomorrow!

i cant do this everyday!

when i snoozed i even dreamt of swimming!

Chapter 8

It was that time of day again!

Walk time!

Yaaaaaaaaaay....

We looked outside and it was pouring down!

Nooooooo!

So Laura wrapped up warm, put on my lead & hoped for the best!

We walked to the big field.

i had a good ol' sniff around the trees, secretly sheltering from the rain!

*heehee*

i sniffed too near some nettles!

*ouch*

The field me & Laura go to is very muddy & wet.

we always get soaked!

i was so cold & wet!

Laura wouldnt pick me up because i was so muddy!

It started to pour down with rain even harder & we still had AGES to walk!

So we stood under some trees for a while but it didnt stop!

i could not wait to get home!

it is definitely the end of summer now!

let me in!!

*heehee*

i was so wet i jumped in the dryer to dry myself off!

so i made do with a warm blanket instead!

Chapter 7

i love my Markies.








they are my special treat when i've been a good girl.












i even eat all the crumbs i make!
im such a mucky pup!







i got a little too excited however...

i jumped up and caught Laura's eye with my teeth!

i was so sorry!

she screamed very loud and was very upset...

it is ok now and she is my friend again.
PHEW!

Chapter 6

so today is the day!

Boris was sat outside our new chicken wired fence...

Laura let me out to see him.

i was so excited to see him.

he was just as big as i thought.







i sat.

i waited.

i wagged my tail.

i barked.

he still sat there!






i wagged that little bit harder.

til i could no longer feel my tail!

he moved over to the gate.

stuck his paw through the gate and took a swipe!

'hisssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss'
showing me the side that the people warning me about!
i dont think i will go so close next time...

Chapter 5

im getting SO bored of being in the house...

only a day or 2 to go til i can go out side and have a proper walk!

i love playing in the house.

but i cant wait to run outside on my lead!

i have my daisy collar at the ready.

Laura has my name tag done.

its silver, engraved with my name and the house phone number on the back!

Chapter 4

where i live, i have a lot of neighbours with cats.

a lot of these cats sit in our garden.

i sometimes sit and watch them from the porch.

i wish i could go out and chase them away!

i have yet to meet Boris.

aka. FAT CAT.

i hear that around this neck of the woods he is a lion...

how true that is, i dont know.

one day i will find out, i just hope he's not hungry on that day!

Chapter 3

i live with Nick.
he is very tall.
when he picks me up i can see things i could never see before!
i love playing in his shoes.
they smell of leather and i like to dig in them!













i wish he would let me sleep in there!
*heehee*
he hides them from me now.
i loved chewing the laces.
and pretending i was down a rabbit hole.
now i play with some slippers.
Laura used to wear these but now has some new ones.
they are pink and white spotty fluffy.
they are a lot smaller.
and a lot softer.
but dont smell as nice as the leather ones!














im allowed to dig, chew, bite and get these ones dirty and Laura wont mind!

Chapter 2

Today i went to the vets for my 2nd jab.
i enjoyed the drive there in Franks van.
we waited at the vets for ages.
there were a lot of big dogs there.
a labrador came in with her owner.
was very sad.
his back legs weren't working any more.
he was sat shaking and his mummy was crying.
i couldnt wait to get out of there!
i dont think he was going to be leaving the vets.
the vet gave me my injection and inspected my hernia.

(just next to my right back leg)

its an in growing hernia and my mummy has to keep an eye on it.
when i am about 5 months old i have to have it removed.
along with being neutered!
im not looking forward to that!
i had a surprise after the vets.
Laura took me to see Auntie Joan.
ive never met her before.
she is lovely!
she give Laura & Frank cake and didnt give me any because i fell asleep!
all the excitement of the day made me one tired little girl!
once my injection kicks in (which should be about a week) i can go on proper walks!
i cant wait!

my name is Ruby.

i am a jack russell miniture.
i have pointy ears.
sharp teeth.
and more energy than a duracell bunny.
i love chewing & exploring.

my first mummy & daddy were Toni & Callum.
but because im so feisty and demand 24/7 attention.
i was given away when i was 9wks old.

i am now in a family of 3.
Laura, Nick & Frank.
they all look after me very well and i run rings around them all!

i have made some great friends.
i love my girlfriends Laura, Lauren & Charlotte.
at the moment because im only 10 weeks i have to stay in and not go outside.
this is driving me a little mad.
i cant help but chew everything in sight!
not long til i can go out now!
one more jab and here i come big bad world!
